Important Disclaimer

We are a private service provider, not the government — we do not issue, supply, or obtain government documents. Easy Services Group (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned document apostille, legalisation, notarial and courier service. Government documents — including DIRCO apostilles, Department of Home Affairs certificates, SAPS police clearances — are issued exclusively by the relevant South African government authority. Our service fees do not include any government-set fees, which are payable directly to the issuing authority.

Group Companies & Invoicing

Easy Services Group is a group of related South African companies. It includes Easy Attestations (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/447436/07), our specialist document-attestation company operating at attestations.co.za. Depending on the service, your work may be provided, contracted and invoiced by Easy Attestations (Pty) Ltd, a related company within the same group. Where this applies, your invoice and tax documents will be issued in the name of Easy Attestations (Pty) Ltd; the Easy Services Group name may appear at the payment (checkout) stage. Both companies operate to the same terms, standards and privacy commitments set out here.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Easy Services Group (Pty) Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and users of our website and services, including notary and apostille services.

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
  • Submit authentic and valid documents for processing
  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information or documentation
  • Pay all applicable fees as quoted and agreed upon
  • Comply with all applicable South African laws and regulations
  • Not use our services for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes

4. Pricing and Payment

All service fees are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to the following terms:

  • Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified
  • Payment is required in advance or as per the agreed payment terms
  • Additional fees may apply for expedited services, courier delivery, or unforeseen complications
  • Government fees (DIRCO, High Court, etc.) are subject to change without notice
  • We accept EFT, credit card, and other payment methods as specified

5. Turnaround Times

While we strive to complete all services within the estimated timeframes provided:

  • Turnaround times are estimates and not guarantees
  • Processing times depend on government departments, courts, and third-party agencies
  • Delays may occur due to incomplete documentation, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control
  • We will communicate any significant delays as soon as we become aware of them

Regarding your documents:

  • We handle all documents with care and confidentiality
  • Original documents are returned via secure courier or collection as agreed
  • We are not responsible for documents lost or damaged by third-party courier services after dispatch
  • Clients should retain copies of all documents submitted
  • We recommend using tracked and insured courier services for valuable documents

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced
  • Government fees paid on your behalf are non-refundable
  • If we are unable to complete a service due to reasons within our control, we will offer a full or partial refund as appropriate
  • Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email

Administration Fee on Refunds

Where a refund is issued for any reason — whether due to service cancellation, non-delivery, or any other circumstance — a 20% administration fee will be deducted from the total amount paid before the refund is processed.

This fee covers administrative costs incurred in processing, preparing, submitting, and managing your application, including staff time, correspondence with government departments, and document handling.

Government fees already paid to third parties on your behalf remain non-refundable and will be deducted separately from any refund amount.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
  • Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by government departments or third parties
  • We do not guarantee the outcome of any application submitted to government bodies
  • We are not liable for losses resulting from inaccurate information provided by clients

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Easy Services Group and is protected by South African intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
